A lot of my technical background comes from my work as a Signal Operator in the Canadian Armed Forces. I've been an active member in the CAF reserve force since January 2021 and have gone through occupational and leadership training allowing me to excel at my job.

As a Signal Operator, I get to work with radio communications with provision of command and control being the main purpose of my position. This means that I am trained to establish and maintain communications in a large variety of situations, where each comes with its own factors that I must account for to accomplish my mission.

Beyond occupational training needed to perform the basic function of my position, I've also taken opportunities to work in the IT sector of CAF to better learn about how IT and cybersecurity methodologies are utilized in a military setting.
